Idea projektu

The hotel concept is based on the relationship between architecture, landscape, water and natural light. The dynamic form of the building was shaped to open the interiors towards the lake and key views, while integrating the architecture as sensitively as possible into its natural surroundings.

Distinctive angled façade planes and rhythmic timber elements create a changing interplay of light and shadow throughout the day. The hotel’s recreational, relaxation and viewing areas are connected with the landscape through terraces, extensive glazing and spaces that open directly towards the water.

Artificial lighting also plays an important role in the concept. Subtle illumination emphasises the geometry of the building, guides users through the spaces and creates a distinctive atmosphere after dark. As a result, the architecture remains connected to the landscape both during the day and at night.

The main idea was to create a hotel that does not dominate its surroundings, but becomes an integral part of them — a place for experiencing the landscape, light and constantly changing nature.
